Assemblers

Assemblers construct products and equipment from prefabricated parts or components, following procedures which are strictly laid down. In addition, assemblers review work orders and other documents to determine materials needed, record production and operational data on specified forms, and inspect and test completed products and equipment. Typical assembled products include engines, motor vehicles, televisions, telephones, knives, plastic toys and many others. Occupations in this group include mechanical machinery assemblers and electrical and electronic equipment assemblers, etc.
