Water supply, sewerage & related activities

Activities in the water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities sector include:

  • the collection, treatment and distribution of water for domestic and industrial needs;
  • activities relating to the management of waste, such as the collection, treatment and disposal of various forms of waste, including that from households; and
  • the provision of remediation services, i.e. the clean-up of contaminated buildings and sites, soil, surface or ground water.
