EU’s unemployment rate for July has risen to 7.2%, according to Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. 

After many years of decline, the unemployment is now on a reverse course as the impact of Covid-19 disrupts the labour market, although EU countries make significant efforts to protect jobs.
