This working paper is the country contribution for Germany for Eurofound’s research project ‘Digital age: Employment and working conditions of selected types of platform work’. It explores the context of platform work in Germany in terms of the applicable regulatory frameworks as well as the organisation and representation of platform workers in the country. The analysis is based on desk research and 6 semi-structured interviews with experts from academia
